Job Responsibilities

As a social secretary with us, you meet adults in different life situations who need support and help from the social services. You are an important part of the municipality's authority implementation according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act of Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), and ensure that the right support reaches the right person in a legally secure, safe, and respectful manner. The assignment means that you will mainly work with the target group of adults, but may also include children and young people (LSS).

Your assignment includes among other things:

• Carry out investigations, assessments, decisions, and follow-ups according to SoL and LSS.
• Plan, structure, and prioritize your tasks.
• Create safe and clear meetings with the individual, relatives, and representatives.
• Collaborate internally and externally with partners and other authorities.
• Document legally securely and structured in our operational systems.
• We are keen on having a legally secure authority implementation, resource awareness, and a holistic view of our users.

Qualifications

You like to work close to people and thrive when the work is important, varied, and sometimes a bit challenging. You keep your head cool and your heart warm, and are happy to share your knowledge with colleagues. As a person, we see that you are secure, flexible, have self-insight with good cooperation skills. You see the possibilities in coordinating our efforts together with other actors, work towards the operations' goals, and focus on results.

We believe you have:

• A degree in Social Work or another equivalent relevant higher education of at least 210 credits.
• Experience in social work, preferably within authority implementation according to SoL/LSS (if you are a recent graduate but engaged – apply anyway).
• Knowledge in structured investigation and follow-up methods such as IBIC or BBIC.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and create structure even when cases pile up.
• Good personal maturity, cooperation skills, and security in working both independently and in a team.
• A B-driving license is a requirement.
