About the role
As a publicly listed company, Peab is a well-established business with a big heart. In Valhall Park outside Ängelholm, the group's Nordic shared service center, Peab Support, is located. The finance department, consisting of accounts payable and accounts receivable, works daily to support the organization with financial matters in a development-oriented spirit.
We are now recruiting on behalf of Peab for an Accounts Assistant to their accounts payable department. The need is immediate, and we are looking for you who are interested in taking on a role with positive energy in an environment where you make a difference in the financial flows every day.
In this position, you will step into a supportive finance role within a large finance department, giving you the opportunity to both grow and take responsibility. As an Accounts Assistant, you will work with accounts payable in close collaboration with your team. You will be welcomed into an environment where you are given the chance to familiarize yourself with varied tasks, high and low.
What we offer A consultancy assignment through us at Academic Work for an initial period of 6 months, with great opportunities for extension.
Responsibilities
The role involves handling all aspects of accounts payable, from invoice processing to payments and reconciliations, to ensure a correct and efficient financial process within the company. Among other things, you will:
- Manage accounts payable and handle reminders
- Handle payments
- Set up new suppliers
- Handle reminders
- Handle VAT issues
We are looking for you who
- Have a high school or post-secondary education in economics or equivalent experience
- Have good administrative skills and can therefore quickly familiarize yourself with new systems
- Have a strong interest in economics
- Can communicate fluently in Swedish and English, as both languages are used in the work
- Are meticulous and structured in your work and possess good analytical skills
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience with business systems such as Visma or SAP
- Good knowledge of Excel
