Omtanken Assistans provides personal assistance for individuals with disabilities who have been granted assistance under LSS or SFB. About the Job

The client is a young woman living in a large apartment in Nås. She also has cats, so you should not be allergic to animals.

Other interests besides animals include baking and cooking. It is a plus if you enjoy these activities as well.

You will join the client on various activities, such as playing bingo, helping with gardening, going for walks, and assisting with other errands alongside the client.

Standard tasks include assistance with hygiene and toilet visits.

While there are good assistive devices in the home, you should not have any physical limitations, as the role involves tasks such as turning the client in bed.

Since the client has her own car and wishes to go out for activities, a valid driver's license is required.

It is an advantage if you are energetic and cheerful, and if you see opportunities rather than problems.

Background Check

If you are hired by one of our clients, you will be required to present a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (belastningsregister) as part of the employment process. The requirements differ depending on whether you work with children or adults.

Working with Children

Work with children with disabilities is subject to background checks according to the Act (2010:479) on background checks of personnel performing certain services for children with disabilities. A certificate from the Swedish Police Authority must be presented as a final step in the recruitment process before employment can be finalized. Working with Elderly or Adults with Disabilities

Work in private homes for elderly persons or adults with disabilities is subject to background checks according to the Act (2026:43) on background checks when working in homes for elderly persons or adults with disabilities. The law applies from March 1, 2026. In support of this law, our company has a policy to request a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority upon hiring. The background check is conducted as a final step in the recruitment process and is part of our overall suitability assessment.
