We offer a work environment characterized by collaboration, professionalism, and a shared drive to develop Swedish schools. Naturally, we have collective agreements.

About the role

As a Quality and Development Manager, you are a key support to principals and operational management in creating good conditions for systematic quality work that promotes development at both the unit and owner level. You will primarily work with our schools within Nobla and Montessori Mondial.

The systematic quality work within AcadeMedia's primary schools is based on both current regulatory documents and our common quality model. Based on these, you are responsible, under the direction of the Quality Manager and in close collaboration with operational management, for planning and conducting various types of follow-ups. You also work on developing, implementing, and anchoring common processes and methods for how results and analysis material from follow-ups are used in the continuous work of monitoring, evaluating, and further developing the operations.

Since our operations are represented in several locations around the country, travel, both during the day and with overnight stays, is a natural part of the role (approximately eight travel days per month).

Responsibilities

Support the educational director and school managers in the area with:

  • creating conditions for systematic quality work at the unit and owner level to be conducted and documented in accordance with regulations and AcadeMedia's guidelines and decisions
  • developing and anchoring processes for how material from regular follow-ups conducted within the framework of systematic quality work is used to continuously monitor, evaluate, and develop operations
  • regularly monitoring and evaluating how work with the development areas decided in the owner's plan for systematic quality work for the year is progressing
  • documenting the owner's systematic quality work (quality report and plan for systematic quality work)
  • identifying, planning, monitoring, and evaluating measures taken to develop operations

Support the principals in the area with:

  • material and analysis support based on follow-ups conducted within the framework of the owner's systematic quality work, as well as acting as support for principals in using the material as a basis for further analysis and actions that lead to development at the local school unit
  • identifying, planning, monitoring, and evaluating measures taken to develop the school unit
  • working to develop the quality of teaching based on scientific basis and proven experience
  • conducting workshops and inspiring principals within your area of operation

And under the direction of the Quality Manager:

  • represent the owners within the area of operation in contact and communication with the Swedish Schools Inspectorate regarding inspections, reviews, and applications for new establishment/expansion of operations.
  • ensure quality that the follow-ups conducted within the framework of the area's systematic quality work meet the regulatory requirements in terms of content
  • collaborate with other quality developers and work in cross-segment projects within the quality team
  • stay updated on changes in school law and relevant research
  • act as a support in implementing new reforms and legislative changes

Who are you?

You who apply are a certified teacher, assistant principal, or principal and have previously worked with follow-up and analysis of school operations at the school and/or owner level. You are well acquainted with primary school regulations and regulatory documents, and have experience in change management and in developing, anchoring, and leading processes that contribute to the development of operations.

You are proactive and independent in your assignment, while actively contributing with competence and experience exchange for the team's overall development. Since the role involves a variety of tasks, it is important that you are flexible. You enjoy standing in front of groups of different sizes and can convey your message in a fun, inspiring, and communicative way, while also being structured and enjoying administrative tasks in various digital systems. You also have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.
