The Water and Wastewater Department (Va-enheten) is responsible for delivering healthy drinking water and treating wastewater to protect the environment.

Job Description

The Water and Wastewater Department is looking for a Project Manager to lead upcoming expansion projects within water and wastewater. This primarily involves the expansion and renewal of the pipe network within the municipality. The department has already started the renewal work on the pipe network, and here you will be a vital cog in the machine. The department currently consists of 11 employees working with operations, pipe networks, and administration. Collaboration is a key cornerstone for us in the department. In addition to driving the renewal work, new connections will be part of your responsibilities.

Qualifications

• You have a suitable academic education or equivalent experience as assessed by the employer.
• Experience leading projects within water and wastewater.
• Knowledge of contract law.
• Knowledge of construction and civil engineering standards (AMA).
• Driver’s license, category B or higher.
• Fluent in Swedish (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).

Merits

• Experience with public procurement.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater legislation.
• Knowledge of quality requirements for water and wastewater pipes and facilities.
