About the role:

We are looking for an engaged and reliable assistant for our Montessori preschool in Sollentuna to support a child with Type 1 diabetes. You will become an important part of the team, responsible for the child's sense of security, health, and participation in daily life.

Responsibilities:

Monitor blood sugar levels and administer insulin as needed throughout the day, according to the care plan.
Collaborate with educators and guardians to create a safe and stimulating day tailored to the child's needs.
Document health-related observations and follow up on the child's needs.

Qualifications:

Education in diabetes care or practical experience with diabetes management (e.g., insulin pen/pump) is a plus.
Experience working with children, preferably in a preschool setting.
Strong communication skills and a sense of responsibility.
Flexible, calm, and confident in your interaction with children.
