Spira Preschool is located in the new residential area of Kronan, close to nature and outdoor recreation areas. Our mission is for Spira Preschool to be a democratic meeting place for children and families where we meet and explore the world together through natural sciences, aesthetics, and sustainable development. We believe it is important to have a welcoming atmosphere for both children and adults. The learning environments at Spira Preschool are important, and we constantly work on their design to allow for various forms of expression. RESPONSIBILITIES

As a preschool teacher, you play a crucial role in children's development and well-being. You will have a multifaceted role and work closely with childcare assistants and other staff at the preschool to create a safe, stimulating, and accessible education for the children. Your main responsibilities include:

• ensuring goal-oriented processes take place and conducting teaching together with childcare assistants, where children's participation and influence are central
• ensuring that teaching in the preschool is conducted in accordance with the goals of the curriculum
• planning, implementing, and developing teaching together with the work team and for the entire preschool
• ensuring that the preschool's learning environments offer variation where children can further develop their skills in an accessible learning environment for care, play, movement, health, development, and learning

You work to create safe and trusting relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are educated and licensed as a preschool teacher with the eligibility to teach in preschool, and who have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. It is an advantage if you have professional experience from working in preschool as well as knowledge of one of our minority languages or another language.

As a person, you need to be structured and able to plan, organize, and complete your work. To succeed in the role, it is required that you have the ability to meet the needs of different children, create good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues, and that you value collaboration and strive for common success. Your creative ability to think outside the box when needed is also important.

Start date: From August 10.
