Responsibilities

Eriksdalskolan is a preschool to grade 9 school (F-9) and is seeking a teacher. As a teacher at Eriksdalskolan, you are an important part of contributing to our vision "Everyone is always included." The vision is based on the pedagogical, social, and physical environment where students should succeed in school and develop based on their unique abilities.

You are aware of the importance of adapting teaching to all students' needs and prerequisites and want to take responsibility for both your teaching and common issues at the school. A clear starting point in the work is always striving to create good relationships with the students.

You are part of a work team and participate in the team's joint work. You contribute to a good learning environment through active work in working groups within a collegial collaboration. Together, you have the students' knowledge development linked to the vision in focus. You also collaborate with other staff at the school.

You are keen on staying updated as a teacher and in your subjects through environmental scanning, further education, and collegial learning. Mentoring is a central part of your role through social contacts regarding students and classes, contact with guardians, absence management, development talks, and collaboration with authorities and social services. In your role, you collaborate with the student health team. You are expected to be able to work with digital tools in your teaching.

Qualifications

• Legitimized teacher for grades 4-6

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent.

To begin working in preschool, school, after-school centers, and other pedagogical activities, you are required to show an extract from the criminal record. The extract is valid for one year and can be ordered from the National Police Board (www.polisen.se (https://www.polisen.se)).

Those who have not shown an extract from the criminal record cannot be employed, engaged, or received in the operation according to current legal requirements.
