About the position

We at Bonzi are looking for a new colleague who wants to work part-time, approx. 30%, as a personal assistant for our client who lives in central Linköping.

Responsibilities:

• Support in daily routines and household chores
• Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals
• Practical support at home and in everyday activities
• Lifting may be required during transfers

The position involves varied shifts, weekdays as well as weekends:

• 14:00–20:30
• 12:30–20:30

About the client

The client is a man in his 60s. He needs your help as an assistant in his daily life due to symptoms of myoclonic impairment and epilepsy.

The days are usually quite calm, and he spends most of his time at home, although he sometimes enjoys going out and doing things. Assistive devices such as a hoist, shower chair, and manual wheelchair are available at his home.

We believe that you, applying for this position, are a person who enjoys working with people and can put others' needs first. You possess calmness and personal maturity, and can easily adapt to the client's daily condition. As a person, you are empathetic, socially aware, solution-oriented, proactive, and reliable.

Merits include:

• Ability to speak Persian
• Valid driver's license and access to a car
• Swimming skills and tolerance to chlorine

Requirements:

• Physically strong, as manual transfers occur
• Professional experience working as a personal assistant or in other care and support roles

Scope: 1 position, 30%.

Start date: Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits are in accordance with the collective agreement.

Things to consider before applying:

Since the position may involve solo work, night shifts, and tasks that, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3), cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present a certificate of no criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning the background check will include both the criminal record and the suspicion register. The certificate is ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order it well in advance.
