The Multilingualism Unit is a central unit for mother-tongue instruction and study guidance in the mother tongue from ages 6 to 19, covering preschool class, compulsory school, adapted compulsory school, upper secondary school, and adapted upper secondary school. The unit's mandate includes coordinating and organizing operations in both municipal and independent schools.

Our administrative offices are located at Fyrisborgsgatan 1, while the pedagogical activities take place at the municipality's schools.

The position is at 10% (possibly more) and lasts for the autumn term of 2026 (possibly longer).

Description of Duties

Your duties include teaching compulsory school students in the subject of mother tongue according to current guidelines. Study guidance in the mother tongue may also be part of your duties. Teaching takes place at the municipality's schools.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have teacher education or another academic education that the employer considers equivalent. The work requires that you have Estonian as your mother tongue and good knowledge of Swedish. You also need to have very good computer skills. Having a B driving license and access to a personal car is considered an advantage.

You have good pedagogical insight and adapt your teaching to the students' different prerequisites. You communicate clearly and engagingly and are flexible in your working methods when conditions change.
