The school has a well-functioning student health team and collegial collaboration characterized by openness and competence development. As a special needs teacher, you are an important part of this work and have the opportunity to influence both teaching and the school's development.

Description of Duties

As a special needs teacher with us, you work to support students in grades F–3 in their knowledge development. You identify students' needs and plan, implement, and follow up on interventions both individually and in smaller groups.

You will, among other things:

• work directly with students in need of special support
• assess student learning and contribute to action plans
• counsel and collaborate with teachers regarding adaptations and inclusive teaching
• be an active part of the student health team
• contribute to the school's development work within the special educational needs field

The work is characterized by close collaboration with colleagues, guardians, and other student health professionals.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a license as a special needs teacher and also experience working in this professional role.

You work independently and take responsibility for your tasks by driving your work forward based on your own conviction. You are flexible and adapt easily when conditions change, while seeing opportunities in new situations. You are goal- and result-oriented, letting clear goals guide your priorities and work approach. You have good collaboration skills and work attentively and smoothly with others, focusing on joint solutions. Through your relationship-building approach, you build and maintain professional contacts that contribute to good collaboration and a positive work climate.
