My wonderful assistant has children, so now I need to find someone who can step in during her parental leave.

I am a little boy who suffers from osteoporosis. This means you must handle me gently. However, I am active and want to have fun. This autumn, I will start in preschool class, and you, as my assistant, will be with me at school on certain days to help ensure I do not hurt myself.

I live with my parents and my sister. Therefore, you must be pleasant and show them consideration.

I think it is good if you:

• are calm, gentle, and reliable
• have good physical health, with no back or leg pain
• understand what it means to work within a family

We place great importance on your cover letter, which my mother reads aloud to me. I want you to tell me why you would be the perfect fit to be my favorite assistant. In addition, we require a CV and references.

When working with a child (persons under 18 years old), DVT Assistans is required by law (2010:479) regarding register control of personnel performing certain services for children with disabilities to conduct a check against the police register before hiring someone who will work with children.
