About the workplace

The Authority Department currently consists of five units based on the legislation regarding special support and service to certain persons with disabilities (LSS), the Social Services Act (SoL), and housing adaptation grants (BAB).

The workplace is located in Maria Park, and you will be part of a unit working together with three colleagues who handle authority matters regarding housing adaptation grants. We are proud to be a unit with high legal quality and at the forefront of implementing current legislation.

Job Responsibilities

The authority within the Health and Care Administration handles applications according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Disabilities (LSS), the Social Services Act (SoL), and the Act on Housing Adaptation Grants.

As a case worker for housing adaptation grants, you are responsible for investigating needs, making decisions, and following up on decisions regarding the right to cash benefits for housing adaptations. The work involves applying a clear set of rules where you must balance professional customer service with correct legal assessment.

The responsibilities include, among other things, documentation and investigative work. You will have contact with individual customers as well as collaborate with colleagues, relatives, representatives, and other actors within the area of operations. The work requires good legal understanding and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist with good knowledge of current legislation, or alternatively have another university education deemed relevant.

It is an advantage if you have experience with authority matters and work with the implementation of rights-based legislation. You are expected to be able to maintain a high production rate and feel confident in computer-based documentation as well as have experience in writing investigations.

We are on an exciting digital development journey and therefore appreciate if you have an interest in digitalization.

A driver's license is a requirement.
