STC is one of Sweden's largest gym chains with over 250 gyms and a wide range of offerings in gym and group training. We offer a modern training environment, equipment from world-leading suppliers, and knowledgeable staff, all to create the ultimate meeting place for people of all ages. We agree with the WHO, the Public Health Agency of Sweden, and government investigators: we sit still too much. Overweight is increasing, and mental health issues such as depression are becoming more common. But there is a simple solution that works wonders for both body, heart, and brain – movement! But we need your help!

We are now looking for a Gym Host at 75% for our gyms in Kalmar (Kaggensgatan) and Färjestaden who wants to offer our customers the best service and give them the best possible training experience.

Your Mission

In the role of Gym Host, you are our face to the public and work to provide every member with a first-class service experience. Your focus is on actively driving the sale of memberships and our other products, and you will be an important part of our team when it comes to creating value for both members and the business. Sales, customer service, and creating a welcoming environment are the core of your work. You also ensure that our members follow our rules of conduct to guarantee a positive and safe gym environment for everyone. This means you actively remind and inform members about the rules, handle disruptive behavior, and help create a safe atmosphere. By being present and accommodating, you contribute to all members feeling welcome and able to train in a positive environment.

Your duties primarily include:

• Selling memberships and additional services such as personal training packages, products from our retail assortment, and any current campaigns.
• High-level customer service, where you answer questions both by phone and directly at the gym, help members solve problems, and ensure they get the best experience.
• Daily operations, which includes keeping the premises clean and welcoming, ensuring equipment is in good condition, and maintaining the gym's general standards.

The pace of work can vary and change quickly depending on the time of day and the number of members visiting our gym. Since our gyms have flexible staffing and varying working hours, you need to be flexible and able to work irregular hours, including weekends and evenings.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is positive, social, and has a natural ability to create a high level of service in all interactions with our members. You are passionate about creating a welcoming and inspiring environment where members feel seen and appreciated and experience the joy of training. To succeed in this role, we believe you have a positive attitude and a solution-oriented approach when meeting different situations and needs. You are someone who adapts easily to changing circumstances and has the ability to maintain a high pace without compromising the quality of your work.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High level of service orientation.
• Strong sense for sales and quality.
• Flexible and able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Wants to give that little extra, both to customers and colleagues.
• Fluent in Swedish (speaking and writing).
