Team Leader for Peab Infrastructure – Industry in Lysekil
Do you thrive on building strong teams where people enjoy working, develop, and perform together? Do you have the ability to ensure the right person is in the right place, thereby creating efficiency, profitability, and quality at every step? Then we definitely want you to read on, as we are currently looking for an experienced Team Leader, preferably with competence in concrete, for our operations in the industrial sector in Lysekil.
About the role:
Here in Lysekil, you will become part of a tight-knit team of approximately 10 people, consisting of both office staff and tradespeople who work closely together in their daily tasks. Our operations primarily consist of concrete and earthworks, and we are proud of our strong collaborative culture.
The work group belongs to the Industry and Maintenance division within Peab Infrastructure and is part of a larger organization with approximately 80 employees. We operate at industrial sites in Lysekil, Stenungsund, and Gothenburg, and we run smaller and medium-sized earth and infrastructure projects throughout Västra Götaland.
As a Team Leader here, you will have a central and significant role in our projects. You will become a key person responsible for the execution of the project – from planning all the way through to final inspection.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Planning, leading, and following up on production within your area of responsibility
- Leading and distributing work within the team
- Contributing to planning as well as technical and methodological choices for work execution
- Responsible for producing work preparation documents
- Ordering materials in consultation with the Site Manager
- Ensuring good order and structure at the workplace
- Reporting obstacles, changes, and deviations to the Site Manager
- Keeping a daily log after each workday
The role is broad and requires you to see the big picture, work in a structured manner, and inspire and engage your employees to achieve set goals and deadlines.
About you:
To thrive and contribute in this role, we see that you have:
- Technical education equivalent to technical high school, university college, or equivalent work experience
- Several years of experience in earth and infrastructure works
- Previous experience with concrete works
- Experience in team leadership
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Good computer skills
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
Personal qualities:
To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you are a positive and solution-oriented person with a natural ability to lead and engage others. You are motivated by creating results and have a genuine interest in business, always working with both the customer and profitability in focus. Working towards clear goals and deadlines is something you enjoy, and you have the ability to maintain structure and direction even when the pace is high.
You are meticulous, responsible, and have a strong safety mindset, which is crucial in our operations where we work daily in high-risk environments. At the same time, you are a team player who appreciates collaboration and has an easy time building good relationships, both internally and externally. In your communication, you are clear and professional, whether you are meeting customers, colleagues, or partners, and you actively contribute to a good work climate where people both enjoy working and develop.
