About Us

The Emergency Clinic is a shared service unit for the entire hospital, collaborating internally with all clinical departments. The clinic consists of the emergency reception, acute care ward, intermediate care ward, emergency physicians, and our administrative unit. You will work alongside colleagues from various professional categories, such as doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants.

Your Responsibilities

We are currently looking for you who are interested in a varied role in this exciting environment! Are you a trained medical secretary, proficient in the Cosmic system, and seeking a unique workplace? Apply to us at the Emergency Clinic!

We all work together here at the clinic to ensure high-quality documentation and excellent service for our patient-care colleagues. We cover almost all clinical departments, from orthopedics, surgery, and medicine to pediatrics, gynecology, and infectious diseases, among others.

Some days are eventful and dramatic, while others are quieter. During on-call hours, we are the hospital's experts and problem solvers. You will never get bored at work when your workplace is the Emergency Department.

It is true that we dictate a lot, but in which other clinic can you document a broken bone, pregnancy complications, and a stroke all on the same day? At the Emergency Department, you gain a broad knowledge base to take with you into your professional life.

But it’s not just about writing. There is so much more, such as:

• We have a busy reception where your flexibility and skills are fully utilized during every shift.
• We have extensive telephone contact with healthcare staff and relatives.

Your Qualifications

A medical secretary education, or equivalent training, is required. Good knowledge of medical terminology and the Swedish language is also essential. We prefer that you have training in diagnostic classification. Experience with the Cosmic system is also an advantage.

Personal suitability is highly valued. Important qualities for this position include good teamwork skills, as you will work in a team with your colleagues. You should also be structured and service-oriented.

Employment Terms

Permanent full-time position with start date as agreed. Since the Emergency Department is open 24/7, we have varying working hours, including days, evenings, and weekends. It is incredibly inspiring to be part of the emergency operations, and your contribution is extremely valuable. There is also the possibility of flexible work, where part of the work can be performed from home.
