About the position

We at Olivia are currently looking for 5 assistants with varying employment levels who wish to work for our client outside of Skärblacka.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

  • Weekdays 06:00–16:00 or 07:00–16:00

  • Weekends 10:00–22:00

About the client

The client is a cheerful and active teenage girl in her mid-teens who enjoys swimming, going to the cinema and theatre, and finding fun outdoor activities. She needs your assistance due to Angelman syndrome. As an assistant, you will become an important part of her sense of security and support in both daily routines and leisure activities.

The duties include the following:

  • Support with daily routines and household chores

  • Practical support in everyday life, both at home, at school, and during leisure activities

  • Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals

  • Transfers

  • Medication management

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and has a calm, secure, and positive approach. You are empathetic, attentive, and able to adapt to different situations in daily life. This role suits you if you are self-motivated, responsible, and enjoy taking the initiative.

It is important that you can remain calm even in stressful situations and feel confident in providing both practical and pedagogical support.

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a personal assistant or within healthcare and social care

  • Valid driver's license and access to a car

Employment level: Full-time, part-time, and extra

Number of positions: 5

Start date: June 1st. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

Things to consider before applying:

A prerequisite for starting employment at Olivia is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID and submit a tax certificate (personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the tax certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website.

Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3), cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old.

To work with children and young people under 18, you must provide an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
