Who am I? I am a happy and lively boy turning 8 years old in November, and I am now looking for some new assistants. I have autism and an intellectual disability. I am not very verbal; we are working on my language skills, and in the meantime, I use AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) as support in my communication.

My big interests are cars and balls. I like speed and playfulness. I live in Pilgrimstad together with my mom, dad, and older sister.

We are a family that likes to come up with things, both planned and spontaneous. We ski (alpine/slalom) in the winter, so this is a requirement. We like to go on adventures, for example, a day in Sundsvall or at the jumpyard in Åre – I love that!

Working hours: Day, evening, weekend, and awake night. During the night, I use a CPAP breathing aid.

You, as my new assistant, should keep a childlike spirit, be patient, and be perceptive.

Sometimes I need to go to the hospital, both in Östersund and further away. Sometimes it is urgent, and sometimes planned. The visits can be short or long, and I need to have my assistants with me. Therefore, you must be able to travel for both short and longer periods.

Requirements: Driver's license, as public transport is poor on weekends to get home to us. Sometimes a colleague gets sick, so you must be able to come in with short notice.

Merits: Knowledge of autism, previous experience working with children with autism/intellectual disabilities, knowledge of CPAP use, and AAC.

We have collective agreements with Kommunal and Fremia for personal assistants.

Vacation pay, shift allowance (OB), and other salary supplements are added according to agreement. We also offer a wellness allowance of 2,000 SEK for full-time positions per year, coffee breaks at work, and other benefits.
