About the role
As a Technical Support Engineer at Åhléns, you play a central role in ensuring that our technical solutions function seamlessly from store operations to the office.
You work in a business-close role where you assist users daily, solve problems, and ensure that our system environments are stable and accessible. The role is varied and combines support, troubleshooting, and practical work with technical development and improvements.
Examples of responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to store staff and office users via phone, ticketing systems, and email
- Troubleshoot and handle incidents related to our POS systems (Storecommerce/Dynamics) as well as hardware and software
- Install, configure, and update technical equipment
- Work on-site when necessary, for example during new store openings, hardware replacements, or critical incidents
- Escalate issues to 3rd line support or external vendors
- Document solutions and contribute to an updated knowledge base
- Ensure follow-up of tickets according to SLA and high service levels

What you bring to us:
- At least 1 year of experience in 1st or 2nd line support
- Experience working in ticketing systems
- Good knowledge of Windows 10/11, Office 365, and Active Directory
- Experience troubleshooting printers, scanners, and handheld devices
- Experience with POS systems, retail technology, and networking
Meritorious qualifications:
- Experience with Zebra equipment
- Experience with Windows Server

About the recruitment
This is a fixed-term position starting as soon as possible until March 2027. You will be based at our headquarters on Dalagatan 100. We prefer working in the office, but there is some flexibility available.
