The Medicine Clinic in Växjö is one of Region Kronoberg's largest clinics with just over 400 employees. Here, open and closed specialized care is provided within internal medicine, neurology, rheumatology, and allergology. At the medicine clinic, we want to create good conditions for the future. Dialogue helps us distribute the workload efficiently. For us, development is important, and we have experienced and secure colleagues whom you can lean on. Many of our patients are multi-morbid and have a great need for nursing and medical interventions.

We are two managers who both have long experience as nurses on the department, and we are responsible for both the department and the clinic.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you will have varied tasks including monitoring medical parameters and conducting patient examinations. You will work closely with nursing assistants, doctors, and other professions to ensure the patient's best care, as well as lead the team in daily work. You will actively participate in rounds and have the opportunity to be involved in the department's development work. Additionally, you will contribute to patient safety work, which is an important part of our operations.

We are currently in a development phase, and if you are a person who enjoys finding solutions and driving change, you can become a key player in our future development. We tailor your introduction to your experience and background.

If you are a newly graduated nurse, we offer you eight weeks of co-working (shadowing) until you feel confident to start working more independently. With us, you will work on a rotation schedule, which means day, evening, and night shifts as well as weekend shifts. You will work two weekends out of five.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a nurse, and if you have experience from hospital care, it is meritorious but not a requirement. In the team, we value the ability to adapt to different situations, and listening, communicating, and solving problems in a constructive way is important to us. For us, good treatment is a fundamental part of your competence and a matter of course to contribute to a positive work climate and environment.
