About the role

As a social worker at Bris, you will work with children, parents, and professionals. You will provide support to children and young people individually and in groups, and assist children in their contacts with authorities when needed. The role involves developing Bris's support services, establishing the Bris reception center in Luleå, and adapting support to the region's needs. You will also work on knowledge-raising initiatives for adults and professionals through training, lectures, and partnerships. Together with colleagues, you are responsible for identifying and building relationships with municipalities, authorities, and other civil society organizations in the region to spread knowledge about Bris's operations, children's rights, and the situation of children in Sweden today.

The role is broad, and you must be comfortable working flexibly. You will work closely with the team at the Luleå office as well as with colleagues across Sweden, reporting to the Regional Manager. The position involves some evening and weekend work, as well as travel.

About Bris Reception Centers

Bris is now establishing a reception center in Luleå. Bris has reception centers in six locations across the country. At these centers, children and young people receive individualized and adapted support, both individually and in groups. Counselors work at the centers on behalf of the children. Luleå is also home to the pilot project "Independent Children's Ombudsman" (Oberoende barnombud).

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with drive, determination, and endurance to continue developing Bris's operations in the region together with colleagues. The role involves both counseling work at our reception center and outward-facing work, requiring you to be relationship-building, communicative, and collaborative. The role is autonomous, requiring strong initiative and the ability to plan, execute, and follow up on your work independently. Being unpretentious, curious, and receptive are other key success factors. You naturally share Bris's core values.

  • Communicates well in both spoken and written Swedish

It is an advantage if you have
