We are now looking for 4 assistants in a row who want to support a young man in his daily life, be his extended arm, and be available for all types of activities.

About the client

The client is a young adult man who uses a wheelchair and needs support and help with everything in his daily life.

Job Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include helping and supporting the client at home as well as during various leisure activities. You will assist with all aspects of daily living, such as meals, hygiene, communication, physiotherapy, and outdoor activities. Bathing is included.

About the position

The available positions have working hours of 91.25%, 86.25%, 85%, and 77.5%. The working hours cover all hours of the day, every day of the week, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Your workplace is in the client's home and during activities outside. Good bus connections to and from the workplace are available.

A large part of the working time involves doubling, meaning you will work together with a colleague during daytime hours.

Your employment will be with Assistans med Hjärtat AB. Assistans med Hjärtat AB is the data controller and has a collective agreement with Kommunal.

Who is suitable for the position? Who are we looking for?

The preferred age for applicants is 20–40 years, but personal suitability weighs the most.

We are looking for you who is calm, stable, and secure, with a heart in the right place. You should be able to provide positive stimulation and create added value. You should be a support in all types of situations and should be social to be able to support the client in communication.

Experience with similar tasks or education may be an advantage, but the most important and decisive factor is personal chemistry.
