Do you want to contribute to strengthening students' learning and development? We are now looking for a special needs teacher for our student health services at Hellidsskolan in Tidaholm Municipality!

About the position

As a special needs teacher with us, you will become part of our special needs teacher team. In this role, you will have a student-focused position at the school and, together with the special educator and other special needs teachers, be responsible for implementing targeted interventions for students in need of, for example, special support.

Hellidsskolan is the municipality's only secondary school with approximately 460 students and 70 employees. Today, the school has five to seven parallel classes in each grade, special education groups, and an adapted comprehensive school program. The staff focuses heavily on the school's guiding principles: health, knowledge, and security. The school's personnel are divided into four work teams, and we have a fully staffed student health team. At our school, you will have the opportunity to work with students in close collaboration with other skilled, qualified, and licensed educators.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have the prescribed education for the position. As a person, you have a good ability to build relationships and you have a positive outlook. You can work in a structured manner while remaining flexible.

You already work today based on the extended teaching mandate, seeing opportunities and potential to change the student's learning environment. You are keen on giving all students a good chance to succeed; it is important to you that your students do well. You have the ability to create truly good relationships with the students, which makes you the most important and powerful tool for creating security and study peace inside and outside the classroom walls.

Great importance will be attached to personal competencies.
