About the job

You will become an important part of the work to procure funds for the premium pension fund market. In this role, you will work with a wide range of legal issues related to the authority's procurements and the new procurement law.

Your main tasks will be to:

• work with procurement law issues related to the Fund Market Board's procurement law
• assist in the preparation and quality assurance of procurement documents
• conduct legal investigations and provide legal support throughout the entire procurement process
• participate in review processes

The legal function consists of six lawyers. The team works closely with the operations and provides legal support to the entire organization. Your profile

We are looking for you with several years of experience in legal work within public procurement and who are confident in your legal assessments. You have good judgment, understand your role, and look to the best interests of the entire operation. You act objectively for the interests of pension savers in every part of your professional practice.

You have good collaboration skills and appreciate learning from others. You thrive in a changing environment with sometimes high tempo, where you get to solve legal questions of great variation and contribute new perspectives.

We are looking for you who have:

• a Bachelor of Laws (Jur. Cand.) or equivalent law degree
• several years of experience in qualified and job-relevant legal work within public procurement, for example from an authority or law firm
• very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is meritorious if you have:

• experience working with review processes
• experience from the pension sector
• experience of public procurement from both the procuring organization and the supplier side
• experience of civil and business law issues

Good to know

The position is a permanent full-time position and we apply a 6-month probation period.

The employment may be placed in a security class.

The Fund Market Board is a so-called board authority and consists of a number of members appointed by the government. The Swedish Pension Agency is our host authority and provides premises as well as handling the Fund Market Board's administrative and processing tasks.

Organizationally, you will be employed by the Swedish Pension Agency where you are part of the secretariat function that works for the Fund Market Board.

The Fund Market Board is a state authority with the task of procuring funds for the premium pension fund market as well as reviewing that fund managers and funds meet the conditions in the authority's fund agreements.
