ABOUT THE JOB

We are currently looking for a female personal assistant for a woman in her 30s. She has a brain injury that includes paralysis and severe cognitive impairment. She has a high care need and requires support with all daily activities such as personal hygiene, tube feeding, dressing/undressing, and transfers. Helping her with training, both for breathing and for the body, will be an important part of the job.

The woman lives in her own house in the countryside, where she enjoys sitting on the porch and enjoying the sun.

There is no public transportation to the location, so a driver's license and access to a car are prerequisites for getting to the workplace.

Although all assistive devices are available, the work can sometimes be physically demanding due to frequent lifting and transfers, so we appreciate that you have good physical fitness.

Comfortable working both independently and in a team during double assistance
Experience with epilepsy and/or tube feeding is an advantage

If hired, you will receive delegation training for tube feeding, tilting bed, and medication management.

HOURS AND PERCENTAGE OF EMPLOYMENT

We are looking for you who can work extra when needed and who can work up to 80-100% during the summer. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, and awake nights.

SALARY

At Vivida, you as an assistant receive a fixed base hourly salary + holiday pay and any shift allowance (OB). Collective agreements apply.
