We welcome you as a care assistant to our cozy dementia village, Månstorps Ängar.

In the role of care assistant at Forenede Care, you work to provide excellent care, service, and support to our residents. Here, you make a difference every day while having fun at work. Together with knowledgeable and engaged colleagues, you help shape the future of elderly care. You will work closely with "Live Life" inspirers and specialist care assistants within dementia care.

Forenede Care operates Månstorps Ängar on behalf of Vellinge Municipality. The care and support facility has a total of 56 resident places, distributed across four units. The facility offers apartments for elderly people with cognitive impairment.

We are a Star-Marked facility, which means we work systematically with education in person-centered dementia care. When you start with us, you will participate in Star-Marked training, aimed at giving staff the knowledge and tools to develop person-centered work in the operation and create an even better daily life for our residents.

At Månstorps Ängar, we have large gardens for easy access to outdoor activities, as well as good spaces for common activities and socializing. We have a retro shop, salon, sensory room, and more.

Månstorps Ängar is strategically located with short distances to both the train station and bus stop. For those who drive, there is free parking right across the street.

In the role of care assistant, you work with care and support based on the customer's wishes, in accordance with benefit decisions, and always with a strong focus on quality. You work, for example, by helping with personal hygiene, meal preparation and serving food prepared in our restaurant, answering alarms, and being there for social interaction. Social interaction is an important part of our work so that all our residents can live life, for life. This can range from talking, playing games, going on excursions, cycling, to finding fun activities together. You also work with delegated tasks from licensed staff, such as medication administration and training.

Job Description

We are currently looking for a colleague on a part-time basis. The employment rate is 75%.

To be eligible for the position, you need:

• A certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare as a care assistant.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.

We also consider it an advantage if you have previous experience in elderly care and dementia care.

To thrive in the role, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings, while being good at building good relationships and being service-oriented. We work both in teams and independently, so it is important that you feel comfortable in this environment.

Before we offer employment, you must show an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or an approved work permit from the Swedish Migration Agency.
