Your Assignment

Solsidevägen's group home is an LSS residence located in central Saltsjöbaden. Six clients with varying and extensive functional impairments live here, meaning the work is at times both physically and mentally demanding. Parking is available for those with a driver's license and their own car.

You will provide support based on the clients' individual needs and work with personal care, medication management, social activities, digital documentation, and contact with relatives and authorities. Many of our clients have a great need for structure and predictability, requiring you to have a pedagogical and consistent work style. You must be able to handle challenging behaviors in a secure and professional manner and be prepared to manage complex and intense situations as part of daily life.

You have the ability to handle pressure and stress without losing focus, driven by a genuine commitment to creating a secure and meaningful daily life for our clients. You are low-affective, sensitive, and pedagogical in your approach, while also being able to set clear boundaries.

Your Experience

To be considered for the position, you must have:

• Completed education as an assistant nurse (undersköterska) or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
• Experience working with individuals with autism and cognitive disabilities
• Documented experience in handling challenging and aggressive behaviors
• Experience in personal care and medication management
• Computer and documentation skills, including care plans
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Additional qualifications such as education and/or experience in IBIC, AKK (Augmented and Alternative Communication), and clear pedagogy are meritorious.
