About Us

Tingbergsskolan is a grades F-6 school located in Lödöse, within walking distance of the commuter train station and near a bus stop. We are situated directly adjacent to forests and nature, which we utilize daily. Approximately 400 students attend the school, where around 50 dedicated employees work. About 200 students are enrolled in the after-school center, divided into three departments.

Students are offered their own dedicated workspaces in their classrooms to create a good study environment. Every academic year, we conduct a comprehensive values-based work involving the entire school. Our student health services are active and student-focused, and we are characterized by a good physical and psychosocial work environment with clear structures and routines.

We have high expectations for both students and colleagues and believe that everyone can become as good as possible. By creating a supportive and challenging learning environment where every individual's needs and abilities are valued, we strive to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to develop and reach their full potential.

Your Role

You are a teacher who plans and conducts teaching with a focus on preparing students for the next step in their learning development. Through leadership and stimulation, you work to ensure that every student reaches their full potential.

The role includes:

• creating a safe and inspiring learning environment
• building good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians
• adapting classroom leadership to different situations and needs
• collaborating with colleagues to develop teaching methods

You are responsible, engaged, and view the educational mission as a crucial part of student success.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who are certified and qualified to teach grades 4–6 in Swedish, Mathematics, English, and Social Studies (SO). You have experience teaching in primary school and work systematically to meet each student's needs.

You:

• create safe and respectful relationships with students
• contribute to a positive and stimulating learning environment
• are independent, proactive, and responsible
• have good social competence and collaborate well with colleagues
• communicate clearly and professionally with students and guardians

We are looking for someone who shows openness and great commitment to their teaching role and who continuously wants to develop their teaching to provide all students with the best possible support.

The position is a temporary assignment until 2026-12-31, with the possibility of extension.

Before employment, you must be able to provide a clean certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (polismyndigheten).

Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis.
