About the job

We are looking for you who want to make a difference in everyday life – and at the same time have fun at work!

You will work as a personal assistant for a woman in her 60s who uses a wheelchair. She has a sparkle in her eye and a great sense of humor. She is now looking for an assistant who wants to be an important part of her daily life.

What do you do with us?

As an assistant, you will be her support in daily life – an extended arm that helps where needed. The tasks vary and can consist of both practical moments and being a pleasant companion. It is important that you are sensitive, can see the individual's needs and adapt your support accordingly.

Working hours:

The working hours are irregular and include sleeping on-call duty. We are looking for both those who want a smaller permanent position and those who can work as a substitute when needed, for example during illness or planned leave.

Salary

Hourly wage by agreement. Collective agreement according to Fremia & Kommunal's agreement for personal assistance. As an employee with us, you are covered by pension insurance, accident insurance, group life insurance, group sickness insurance, and parental benefit supplement.

Recruitment process

We contact candidates who are suitable for a first interview on an ongoing basis. The position will be filled when we have found the right person, which may happen before the last application date. Your application is processed by staff at Storsjöbygdens Personliga Assistans, together with the client, as well as any relatives, guardians, or other concerned parties. If the position involves working with a minor client, a certificate of good conduct is required.

Child's perspective in recruitment

At Storsjöbygdens Personliga Assistans, we carefully follow the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which means that if you apply for a position involving work with minors, the recruitment process will include specific steps to ensure that the child's wishes and needs are taken into account. Employment involving work with minor clients also includes training on the child's perspective.

Terms of employment

If you proceed in the recruitment process, you need to be able to prove your identity and demonstrate that you have the right to work in Sweden. To sign your employment contract and timesheets, you are required to have a BankID.

To ensure that we maintain high quality in assistance, new employees will undergo a web-based introductory training (approx. 1 hour), preferably before the start of employment but no later than within one month from the start of employment.
