We are looking for

We are currently seeking a candidate with a degree in Social Work (Social Worker) and good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good knowledge of English. It is an advantage if you have MI (Medical Certificate) and knowledge of risk use and addiction, as well as experience in assessment work. We would appreciate if you also have experience in psychiatric outpatient care, inpatient care, and/or addiction care, but this is not a requirement.

What you will work with

The Acute Psychiatry Clinic in Boden is a general psychiatric clinic offering specialized psychiatric care and treatment to individuals over 18 years old. The clinic consists of employees with various professional competencies, such as nurses, doctors, psychotherapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, care assistants, social workers/counselors, and medical secretaries/administrators.

Responsibilities:

Working as a social worker or counselor in psychiatric outpatient care is a highly varied and rewarding job. The core of the operation is the meeting with the patient. We base our work on the patient's needs, wishes, and expectations.

You will primarily work with BAS assessments/evaluations, but there will also be room for psychosocial treatment. This can include various forms of counseling, practical social measures, as well as collaboration with authorities and other actors.

You will be part of a team where all professional categories are represented.

Treatment at the clinic is conducted both individually and in groups. We also offer psychoeducational interventions for patients and relatives.

As a social worker or counselor, your task is to ensure and strengthen the social perspective for the patients.

Information about the position

We are now offering a permanent full-time position. Working hours are during daytime, Monday to Friday. Start date is by agreement. Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

The position is within psychiatry. Given the nature of the operations and safety requirements, applicants must be prepared to provide a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (extract from the criminal record).
