Subsurface is our youth art gallery, which we want you to help develop through exhibitions and events.

You will become an important adult role model and inspirer who strengthens young people's creativity, participation, and expression. The youth activities will work to enhance young people's opportunities to experience community, influence, and take responsibility, with the aim of contributing to their well-being, quality of life, and personal development.

  • Work in open youth club activities and create safe and inclusive meeting places
  • Stimulate young people's creativity, initiative, and influence

  • Work relationally and supportively in interactions with young people

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has artistic education in photography, film, and/or visual arts
  • Has experience working with children and/or young people, preferably within youth club activities
  • Is pedagogical, receptive, and relationship-building
  • Has an inclusive approach and meets young people with respect and curiosity
  • Thrives in a flexible role where both structure and spontaneity are important parts
  • Is creative, proactive, and team-oriented
  • Is confident in your values and ethical standpoints and can communicate them to young people

We offer

  • A varied and creative job where you make a real difference for young people
  • Opportunities to develop activities and working methods together with engaged colleagues
  • A work environment where culture, participation, and youth perspectives are in focus
