We are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 7 different European countries, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight.

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an SAP (Senior Authorised Person) to join our team.

Below is a list of typical duties, but this is not exclusive of all duties that are required to be carried out on-site.

SAP responsibilities include, but are not limited to, being responsible for overall energy isolation program management at the site for MEP energy, and being accountable to ensure all activities related to established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe working conditions have been established by reviewing documentation (including procedures, job hazard analysis, and permits).

• Audit the energy program for construction, commissioning, maintenance, and operations activities.

• Work alongside construction and commissioning teams to ensure safe working conditions to properly test and validate the installation, operation, and performance of MEP systems.

• Support the management of electrical infrastructures throughout the Data Centre campus, ranging from a single large capacity facility to several smaller ones.

• Work closely with Environmental, Health, and Safety teams to drive operational excellence in all aspects of the control of hazardous energy.

• Train new and existing employees in defined Energy Isolation processes and procedures.

• Manage permits / LOTOS and chair weekly meetings with clients and vendors.

• Manage systems from 20 kVA through to final LV circuits.

Requirements:

Relevant electrical qualification

• AP/SAP Experience

• Experience setting up teams to work on HV or LV networks and issuing appropriate Safety Documentation

• Completed Testing & Verification courses

• 4 years’ experience in a similar role within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment is highly desirable

• Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills
