Hello! I am an active 15-year-old boy attending adapted comprehensive school at the lower secondary level in Motala. During weekdays, I am at school, and no assistance is scheduled then. Working hours are instead adjusted to my needs on school days, school holidays, weekends, and days off. Shifts are distributed between 13:00–08:00, including awake nights when I am in school.

I live in two home environments together with my parents, and I am looking for you who want to meet me where I am – both today and as I grow older. You want to contribute to safety, continuity, and development in my daily life.

About the job

You support me in my daily life, for example through:

• Personal care and self-care
• Exercise, meal situations, and communication
• Social interaction and structure in daily life
• Enabling an active and meaningful leisure time as well as family activities

You work closely with my parents and colleagues, relay important information, and follow common routines and working methods. Travel may occur together with me and my family, which means you need to be flexible and able to be away overnight if necessary.

Who am I looking for?

I am looking for you who enjoy working in a team with a clear child focus and close collaboration with relatives. Personal suitability is very important.

You preferably have:

• Education in the disability sector or equivalent experience
• Experience working with children with intellectual disabilities and/or epilepsy
• Knowledge of low-affective approach, clarifying pedagogy, and PECS/TAKK

It is an advantage if you have previous experience as a personal assistant and hold a B-driving license.

To thrive in this role, you are secure, responsible, receptive, and professional in your approach. You can work independently but understand the importance of collaboration to create a functioning and safe daily life.
