Borox is looking for a Quality Technician for our operations in Eneryda, Älmhult Municipality.

Main Responsibilities

Drive operational quality work to ensure that products meet quality requirements throughout the entire production chain.

The role involves close collaboration with purchasing, preparation, production, planning, and marketing to analyze deviations, handle quality issues, and drive improvement work.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Follow Borox policies, routines, and instructions.
• Evaluate and handle internal and external quality deviations.
• Support production and continuously follow up on quality issues.
• Perform inspections of new articles as well as control measurements of articles and fixtures.
• Document control measurements when necessary.
• Perform measurements and tests with relevant instruments.
• Perform calibrations of measuring instruments.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure material quality and follow up on supplier deviations.
• Create and keep control instructions up to date.
• Participate in and drive continuous improvements.
• Participate in and drive root cause investigations.
• Prepare 8D reports and root cause reports.
• Check process stability in heat treatment.

The role is part of the Quality Department.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years of experience from the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in reading drawings and technical specifications.
• Good understanding of production processes and material properties.
• Analytical skills and problem-solving competence.
• Attention to detail and structured work approach.
• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate.
• Motivated and engaged.
• Basic IT skills.
• License for forklift and overhead crane operation.

Languages:

• Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
