Do you want to work close to both technology and reality – in an environment where hardware and intelligent systems meet? We are now looking for a new colleague who wants to continue their career in test development. Here you will have the opportunity to work with products that are used every day on farms and that make a real difference for both animals, production, and users.

About the role:

You will become part of a team of nine people working with testing and verification of hardware and animal-proximity products linked to modern animal production processes. The products include, among other things:

  • Electronics and hardware in products and systems close to the animal production process
  • Sensors and ear tags for identification and activity measurement
  • Systems that collect data on animal movement patterns, health, and fertility
  • Products close to the animal production process, such as teat cups, vacuum systems, and material solutions

The work takes place in close collaboration with development projects where testing is an important part from the early phases. The role combines practical testing work with coordination, documentation, and improvement work. We are looking for someone who likes to drive things forward and enjoys creating structure, communicating results, and further developing working methods and test methods.

Examples of tasks:

  • Testing and verification of hardware and systems
  • Participate in development projects as a test resource or test lead
  • Create test plans, test reports, and summaries
  • Method development and improvement of test processes
  • Collaboration with designers, developers, and product specialists
  • Practical work in a lab environment and sometimes out on the farm
  • Evaluate how products function both technically and in real-world use
We are looking for you who:
  • Have a university degree or Master of Science in Engineering in electronics, mechanical engineering, or mechatronics
  • Have at least one year of work experience in similar hardware-related tasks
  • Have an interest in animal production processes
  • Speak and write Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work
  • Have a valid driver's license (Category B)

You don't need to know everything from the start – the most important thing is that you are curious, technically interested, and eager to learn about our products and context. We believe you will thrive in a role where you get to combine technology with practical work, where you work hands-on and contribute with structure and coordination. You are communicative, enjoy compiling and presenting results, and collaborate well with many different functions and competencies. We also see that you have drive, take responsibility for moving the work forward, and are curious about how technology, materials, and products function in real-world use. If you also have an understanding of hardware, electronics, materials, or software, it is meritorious, even though the role is not pure programming. It is also meritorious if you have a background in agronomy or farming.

This is a consulting assignment, which means that initially, you will be employed by Friday. The ambition from both the client and our side is that you will eventually become directly employed by the client.
