We are looking for a Project Coordinator who wants to make a difference for the elderly

Do you want to help create community, joy, and security for the elderly in Jokkmokk Municipality? To address the needs regarding involuntary loneliness among the elderly and to help develop Sami elderly care, we are now looking for an engaged coordinator who wants to lead and develop our work in this area.

The project aims to create meeting places and activities that provide social community for elderly people living in Jokkmokk Municipality, as well as to offer activities within Sami culture for our users in elderly care.

Job Responsibilities

As the coordinator for the project, you will help build the operations together with the operations manager within elderly care and developers. The goal of the project is to reach out to the elderly who need more social community and to counteract loneliness, as well as to offer activities to support the elderly's ability to maintain their cultural Sami identity.

You will create and lead activities and meetings for elderly people who have a need for social community.

Competence in Sami language and culture is desirable, as Jokkmokk Municipality is an administrative municipality, and the job responsibilities will include targeted activities for elderly people with a Sami background.

• Hold a valid driver's license (Category B)

Competence in Sami language and culture is considered an asset.

The role places high demands on personal suitability, empathy, the ability to handle stressful situations, juggling multiple tasks, and being a good planner.

Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.

The employment is fixed-term during the project period (1 year) with the possibility of extension, provided that the project is extended or made permanent.

The salary range for this position is between 32,000 - 36,000 SEK/month on a full-time basis. We apply individual salary setting based on your experience and competence.
