We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to work as a personal assistant with us.

You will be working with a cheerful 19-year-old girl who lives with her parents in Vidingsjö. She is curious, social, and appreciates being involved in various activities. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, taking walks, and going on car trips.

The girl has a significant disability and a great need for support in her daily life. As a personal assistant, your role involves helping her with transfers and care, as she cannot sit or stand on her own. She does not have speech, but communicates through facial expressions and body language, which requires you to be perceptive and skilled at interpreting her signals.

Medical experience is meritorious, as she requires several medications daily. She also uses an inhaler, and all fluid intake is administered via PEG, which is vital for her. While medical experience is a plus, it is not a requirement; the most important thing is that you are curious and willing to learn.

About the position and working hours

We are currently seeking two personal assistants for summer work during the regular staff's vacation period. Shifts are scheduled for daytime and evening hours between 08:00 and 22:00, according to a fixed schedule.

To be considered for the position, you must be available to work during the period of weeks 25–32. Introduction will take place immediately, and there is an opportunity to work extra hours if needed until summer. Our client is only accepting female applicants.

About you:

We are looking for someone who is perceptive and has strong social skills, as you will need to interpret the client's needs and communicate with her parents at home.

Physical capacity is required, as some strength and technique are needed for lifting in and out of a wheelchair.

You also need to have some medical knowledge or understanding, as medication is essential for the client's well-being.
