Videskolan is a resource unit within Uppsala Municipality. We focus on students with autism, speech disorders, and hearing impairments. We accept students in grades 4–9. We work on behalf of the student's home school and in accordance with the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum and subject plans for compulsory school.

Description of duties

The work consists of working closely with students in smaller groups. You will also serve as a mentor for a number of students.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified compulsory school teacher with the qualification to teach Mathematics or Natural Sciences (Ma/No) in grades 4–9. You work well with others and build trusting relationships with students and colleagues through a responsive and flexible approach. As a person, you are outgoing and socially active in your work, naturally creating and maintaining contacts over time. By listening, communicating clearly, and handling differences of opinion constructively, you contribute to a good collaborative climate. You also have the ability to put yourself in someone else's perspective or situation without taking over the person's feelings.
