As a Communications Manager, you will play a key role in developing Elmia's brand and communication. You will work both strategically and operationally, close to the management team and in collaboration with a digital communicator and graphic designer. Together, you will create communication that strengthens Elmia's position and engages both internally and externally.

About the role

As Communications Manager at Elmia, you are ultimately responsible for Elmia AB's overall communication and brand, with a focus on creating business value and clear movement. This involves ensuring a cohesive brand experience through Elmia's trade shows, meetings, and events. The role includes, among other things:

• Drive communication strategy, positioning, and brand development.
• Plan, execute, follow up, and analyze communication initiatives with a focus on effectiveness.
• Lead and develop the internal communicator network within a matrix organization.
• Monitor the external environment, analyze results and needs, and drive continuous development of communication efforts.
• Coordinate external agencies and develop internal working methods.
• Provide support to the CEO and management in strategic and operational communication, including advice and execution during crises and special events.

This is a permanent position at Elmia AB, located at the office in Jönköping. Organizationally, the role is part of the staff, and you report to the Financial Controller.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for a strategic and business-driven communicator who thrives in a role that combines a holistic perspective with operational execution capabilities. You have good collaboration skills and natural leadership qualities, with the ability to create engagement, structure, and clear direction in a matrix organization. The role involves coordinating and leading communicators in various contexts, without formal personnel responsibility, which requires a coaching and inclusive approach.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have a relevant university degree in communication or marketing, as well as several years of experience in strategic B2B communication work. You also have experience in brand development and are accustomed to driving work forward through collaboration and anchoring.

We also see that you have strong digital competence with good experience in analysis and effect measurement, as well as experience in PR, media relations, and collaboration with external suppliers. You express yourself very well in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
