Responsibilities

You will become part of a team that ensures the operation of our fiber networks with as few interruptions as possible. You will work on preventing issues in the network and act as second-line support for escalated cases from the service desk.

• Work with advanced switching and routing, including in MPLS environments.
• Ensure stable operation of our Windows and Linux servers.
• Maintain and develop working methods, routines, and documentation.
• Collaborate with our service providers.
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance.
• Troubleshoot, resolve incidents, and contribute to fast, sustainable solutions.
• Maintain close contact with the planning department that develops the network.

The role may also involve leading various network expansion projects.

On-call duties may be included in the position.

Your background

• Several years of experience in networking, operations, or similar work.
• Post-secondary education in networking, security, or data communication, or equivalent experience.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and find effective solutions.
