High School Teacher in Mathematics and Natural Sciences in Mariestad

The Position

We are looking for a dedicated high school teacher in mathematics and natural sciences for our school unit in Mariestad.

In this role, you will plan and deliver teaching in the subjects of mathematics and natural sciences. You will also participate in the school's development work and serve as a mentor for students. The position involves close collaboration with your colleagues at the school.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date in August 2026.

Vänergymnasiet Olins Mariestad is located centrally in Mariestad with a beautiful view of Lake Vänern. Here, the scent of freshly baked bread from the school kitchen meets the faint hum from the workshop areas. The school became part of Olinsgymnasiet in the summer of 2022 and is therefore now named Vänergymnasiet Olins Mariestad.

Your Profile

You have a teaching license with eligibility to teach in mathematics and natural sciences.

To succeed in the role, you are a confident and clear leader who can create structure in the classroom, while also having the ability to inspire and generate engagement. You value collaboration and are driven by developing teaching together with others.
