Who are we?

Kyrkskolan is a preschool to grade 6 school located in the Eneby area with approximately 340 students and 45 employees. The school operates a parallel system with three after-school care departments.

We have a lovely outdoor environment with large areas for play and teaching, close to forests and nature. We have a highly competent staff consisting of preschool teachers, teachers, and after-school care teachers who work together in the classrooms.

The entire staff actively works to give all students the opportunity to develop based on their individual prerequisites.

Your responsibilities

This role involves supporting students during the school day with various subjects and in social interactions. You will work both in the school and at the after-school care center. The work is carried out in close collaboration with teaching teams, student health teams, and school leadership.

Contact with guardians will be a natural part of the assignment.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and holds a degree in social pedagogy. You have experience working in schools and experience working with students with neuropsychiatric disabilities.

You have knowledge of low-affective interaction and experience in creating a clear, structured, and calm learning environment with a minimum of distracting auditory stimuli. You have experience being a support in the student's social thinking and understanding of social codes, and you understand others' thoughts and feelings.

You are self-reliant, responsive, and flexible in your working style, humble in your approach, and show a genuine interest in students' learning and social development.

You have good collaboration skills and can interact smoothly with different parts of the school's operations. Additionally, you build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. In your team, it is important to you to contribute, and you are happy to share your knowledge and reflections in a non-hierarchical manner.

To succeed and thrive in the position, we see that you have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and the correct degree.
