We are now looking for an engaged and relationship-building social pedagogue/recreation teacher on a full-time basis, starting in August. The position is a fixed-term/project employment with good prospects for a permanent position.

About the role

In the role of social pedagogue/recreation teacher, you work closely with students, guardians, and staff to create a safe, inclusive, and developmental school environment. You are a support in the students' social development, contribute to structure and study environment, and actively participate in the pedagogical activities of the after-school center.

You will:

• work promotively and preventively regarding students' well-being and safety
• build strong and positive relationships with students and guardians
• collaborate closely with teachers, student health services, and school management
• contribute to meaningful activities within the after-school program
• support students in conflict resolution and social development
• drive own initiatives and develop the operations forward

Qualifications

We prefer that you have education as a social pedagogue, recreation teacher, or other equivalent education/experience that the employer deems relevant.

Experience working in schools or with children and young people is a requirement.
