ABOUT THE JOB

We are currently looking for a female personal assistant for a woman in her 30s. She has a brain injury that results in, among other things, paralysis and severe cognitive impairment. She has extensive care needs and requires support with all daily activities such as personal hygiene, tube feeding, dressing/undressing, and mobility. Helping her with training, both for breathing and for the body, will be an important part of the job.

The woman lives in her own house in the countryside, where she enjoys sitting on the porch and enjoying the sun.

There is no public transport to the location, so a valid driver's license and access to a private car are prerequisites for commuting to work.

Although all assistive devices are available, the work can occasionally be physically demanding due to frequent lifting and transfers, so we appreciate that you are physically fit.

ADDITIONAL QUALITIES WE LOOK FOR

Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team during double assistance
Experience with epilepsy and/or tube feeding is an advantage

If hired, you will receive delegated training for tube feeding, tilting bed, and medication management.

HOURS AND PERCENTAGE

We are looking for someone who can work extra hours when needed and who can work up to 80-100% during the summer. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, and awake nights.

SALARY

At Vivida, you as an assistant receive a fixed base hourly salary + holiday pay and any shift allowance (OB). Collective agreements apply.
