We are currently looking for an engaged companion for a young man with a wide range of interests, from motorsport and arcade games to music and pop culture. He wants to get out more in everyday life and is looking for you who can act as a supporting hand and a "social key" in interactions with others. As a companion, your main task will be to encourage activity and help him navigate social interactions.

He enjoys physical activity and likes playing padel or racketball, attends jiu-jitsu classes, but also appreciates quieter outings to the library or a sci-fi bookstore. Since he sometimes finds large crowds and busy environments overwhelming, it is important that you, as a companion, are sensitive, calm, and confident in reading the situation when more space is needed.

As the individual experiences epileptic seizures, we are looking for someone who is responsible and capable of acting calmly and methodically if such a situation arises. We would appreciate it if you share some of his interest in motorsport, but most importantly, we value your personal maturity and your ability to create a safe and meaningful leisure time together with him.

Hours: Working hours are as follows: Mondays 18:00–19:30 and Wednesdays 19:30–21:00. Occasionally, the client wishes to save time for larger activities on weekends, often Rally, Drifting, or similar motorsport events. Other times may occur based on discussions regarding the client's needs.

About you

We believe that you who apply for this position are someone who is passionate about working with people and can see the needs of others. As a person, you are sensitive, social, and enjoy staying active. A major merit is that you can act responsibly and work independently with good pedagogical skills.

Meritorious (not required):

• Experience supporting individuals with diagnoses.
• Education in healthcare and social services, child and youth care, or ongoing studies in social work, teaching, or psychology.
• Category B driver's license.
• Experience with epilepsy.

Employment requires that you have a BankID and agree to use it in the position, as well as providing a current extract from the police criminal record register. The register you need to order is called "Work with children with disabilities", as we use this for all our employments.

Scope: Part-time, approximately 9% of full-time (16 hours per month).

Positions: 1 position.

Start date: By agreement. Applications are reviewed continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

Things to consider before applying:

A prerequisite for starting employment at Olivia is that you can present a valid ID and submit a tax certificate (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the tax certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website.

Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you wish to work with children and young people under 18, you need to present an extract from the criminal record register. It is important to order the extracts in good time, as the police processing time may vary. Due to a legislative change from March 1, 2026, the register control is expanded to include both extracts from the criminal record register and extracts from the suspicion register.
