As a security guard at Avarn Security, you will have an exciting daily routine where your task is to strengthen our customers' sense of security and contribute to a safer environment.

A security guard plays a central role in maintaining safety and security in various environments. The profession involves preventing and handling risks by monitoring premises and ensuring that security procedures are followed. Security guards often work in close contact with people and need to be able to act calmly and professionally in both everyday situations and during incidents. The role places high demands on responsibility, integrity, and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.

The customer places great trust in us, and your work as a security guard is important. You contribute every shift to creating safety and security for the customer and society at large.

We are now looking for more security-conscious, social, empathetic, and positive individuals with inner calm and a natural drive to help. Security guards work in many different environments with very varied tasks - we are looking for you who enjoy working with people and have a clear service-oriented commitment. We also appreciate if you can communicate fluently in English.

Qualifications

In addition to the personal qualities we seek and describe, you must meet basic requirements to qualify for the position. You must be of legal age when starting the job, have a high school education, good Swedish skills in speech and writing, and hold a Category B driver's license.

You must also be crime-free*, drug-free, have a sound economy, and be in good health and physical condition to be employed by Avarn Security. Tests will be applied during the recruitment process, so keep an eye on your inbox as they are sent out continuously.

Security guard training is meritorious for these positions. Other meritorious qualifications include experience in the security industry, some technical knowledge, additional language skills beyond Swedish and English, and previous experience working in public environments. If you have the right profile for Avarn and proceed in the process but do not already hold the prescribed education (VU1, VU2), we will cover your training! Security guard training (VU1, 9 days) is conducted at BYA Security Industry's Vocational and Occupational Health Committee. Participation in this is a prerequisite for employment.
