Water Activity Leaders – Create Joyful Movement in Our New Swimming Pool!

Do you want to lead fun and healthy water activities in our new swimming pool? We are now looking for you who want to help create joyful movement in the water! We are seeking engaged and safe leaders for our various water sessions.

3 positions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The position is an hourly contract with the assignment to lead various sessions in our swimming pools. Your title will be "Pool Attendant" (Badvärd), but the assignment includes only group training/sessions. This means that working hours are based on the sessions you lead, involving individual sessions within water training.

We are now looking for leaders/instructors for the following sessions:

• Water Aerobics
• Baby Swim
• MiniSwim
• FaR (Physical Activity on Prescription)
• Water Fitness
• Water Zumba
• Water Aerobics

We welcome your own ideas for new water sessions! We have high ambitions and want to create a fantastic swimming pool where both guests and staff feel great. To succeed with this, we have a number of keywords that we want to permeate our operations and all the work we do:

• Service-oriented: You need to have a genuine interest in meeting people, providing good service, and creating a welcoming environment for all visitors.
• Flexible: The work can vary greatly from day to day, and it is important to be able to quickly switch between, for example, serving, cleaning, and swimming instruction.
• Taking responsibility: Being able to independently take responsibility for your tasks, follow routines (especially hygiene and safety routines), and take initiative when needed.
• Collaborative: You work in a team with many different roles and need to be able to collaborate smoothly with both colleagues and visitors.
• Structured: To get flow in the workday, order and tidiness are required, especially regarding handling orders, keeping clean, and simultaneously keeping track of teaching times or staffing in the café.

You will work varying hours, primarily evenings and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has/is:

• experience in leading group training, merit if it has been in water.
• good habits of using IT as support in work, e.g., for documentation.
• good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing. If you master other languages in addition to Swedish, it is a merit.
• good at swimming and feel safe in the water.

It is also a merit if you have:

• education in, for example, water gymnastics, baby swim, or group training.
• education in physical activity on prescription (FaR); education is required to hold FaR sessions.
• education in life saving, CPR.
• B driver's license as we have swimming pools in both Strängnäs and Åkers Styckebruk.

Your personal qualities are important and we will place great weight on them! We are looking for someone with a professional and warm approach. You have a motivating attitude and enjoy creating energy and joy in a group. Being able to collaborate with colleagues from different parts of the operation is an extremely important part of the role and a basic prerequisite for both you and our guests to feel good with us.

You are a safe leader with a good sense of service and can work both independently and in a team. In the swimming pool environment, it is important to be able to create safety, motivation, and engagement in teaching situations.

Since you, among other things, will work in close contact with children and youth, an extract from the police criminal record must be presented before employment.
