We are now looking for you who are skilled in physical security and know everything about how alarm and access control systems are interconnected and structured.

As a Security Coordinator, you belong to the Security Unit at the Municipal Executive Office, where we are 12 employees working to make Eskilstuna a safe and secure municipality to live and work in. We support, coordinate, and develop the municipality's work within security and preparedness. The unit includes developers, coordinators, security developers, crisis preparedness coordinators, and four security coordinators whom you will work closely with in operational support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Security Coordinator, you work in an operational role with a focus on physical security. This involves access cards, burglary alarms, locks, and various technical solutions. You work in a central, service-oriented, and consultative role where you provide support to all of the municipality's departments within the operational area. You design templates, routines, checklists, and provide support in analyses and improvement work within the field.

The role gives you great opportunities to collaborate with many different parties, both internally and externally, with contracted contractors and municipal companies. You are a key person for coordinating efforts with the municipality's contracted technicians for alarm and access control systems. Here, you become part of a team of four people who together do everything to ensure the municipality's internal security in this area remains of the highest class.

A large part of the role takes place at the office, but you also travel to operational visits at the municipality's various types of facilities, ranging from directly urgent needs for support to more strategic and forward-looking work.

If you are considered for employment, you will need to undergo a security clearance interview.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are now looking for you who have experience working with physical security and have knowledge of how technical systems within alarm and access control systems are structured and interconnected. You are welcome to have worked at both operational and strategic levels within the field, and if you have certificates within alarm and access control systems, it is a great advantage. The educational requirement for the position is completed upper secondary school, but it is very good if you have post-secondary education with a focus on security. You have a B-driver's license to easily get to operations around the municipality as needed.

We want you to be easy to understand – both in speech and writing. You are a service-oriented, consultative, calm, and stable person with the ability to create structure in your own work and have good cooperation with everyone you meet.
