We are now looking for an experienced and confident accounting specialist who wants to take broad responsibility for accounting, year-end closing, and reporting in a complex and professional environment within a large international company. This assignment suits you if you are used to working closely with auditors, have a high focus on quality, and thrive in a role with many contact points and significant independent responsibility. This is a consulting assignment starting immediately, expected to last approximately 6 months. The client is located in premium offices in Solna.

About the role

In this role, you will have overall responsibility for several central accounting and reporting areas, collaborating closely both internally and externally with auditors. You will become a key person in coordinating and driving audit and year-end closing processes throughout the year, ensuring high quality in deliverables and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and drive the audit process throughout the year, including internal control, interim, and annual closing.
• Handle and prioritize ongoing questions and requests from auditors.
• Ensure quality in annual reports and financial reporting.
• Work with year-end closing, including journal entries, reconciliations, and follow-up of adjustments.
• Work with Blackline and contribute to quality-improving work related to the balance sheet.
• Handle ad hoc accounting questions and collaborate with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in qualified accounting and year-end closing work.
• Experience working with audits and having ongoing contact with auditors.
• Experience from large organizations or groups.
• Good understanding of internal controls, processes, and balance sheet work.
• Experience working with system support such as Blackline is a plus.

You are structured and meticulous with a strong awareness of quality, working independently with confidence in your accounting expertise. You communicate easily and enjoy collaborating with various stakeholders. Furthermore, you are solution-oriented and flexible, with good ability to prioritize and handle multiple parallel deliverables in a changing workflow.
