On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a Business Controller for an established company in the Öresund region. Here you will be offered a business-close role where you will work broadly with controlling, analysis, and business support in a complex and dynamic organization.

The assignment is initially planned for 12 months and is being filled in connection with parental leave, with the possibility of extension.

The location can be discussed between Malmö and Helsingborg depending on the candidate and the business's needs.

As a Business Controller, you work close to the operations and serve as an important support to management and result owners in economic and business matters. The role includes both operational controlling and the development of processes, reporting, and analysis.

You will, among other things, work with:

• Analysis of financial outcomes and variance management
• Budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational results
• Support to operations and management on financial matters
• Monthly closing and financial follow-up
• Development and maintenance of reports and BI tools
• Drive and develop improvement work, routines, and processes
• Participate in and lead projects within the operations

We are looking for you who have experience with controlling in larger organizations and who thrive in a business-close and communicative role.

To succeed in the role, we believe you have:

• An academic education in economics or equivalent
• Several years of experience from a similar controller role
• Good understanding of accounting and financial flows
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
• Very good skills in Excel and preferably experience with BI tools
• Good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

As a person, you are analytical, communicative, and confident in working close to the operations. You have an easy time building trust, explaining financial connections in a pedagogical way, and turning numbers into business insights.
